Writers Bar was named after the many literary giants who visited the hotel, including George Bernard Shaw, Rabindranath Tagore and Guo Moruo. Inspired by the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles, it features magnificent domes, crystal chandeliers, French style floor-to-ceiling doors, and century-old wooden dance floors. It whisks you back to the feeling of attending a gathering of society’s finest at the dawn of the last century. A wide selection of afternoon tea is available by the Chang’an Avenue.
